but pirate_LLL now seems so 2005. La Jolie Brun is an old Cajun song, a twist on the famous La Jolie Blonde. Our beautiful kitten is named Jolie because we were looking for something that was very Louisiana, but didn't scream Louisiana.
The purpose of this blog is to be about everything except my job (it which shall not be named). Hopefully, this will also encourage me to do things beside working. Ultimately, my goal is to write as entertaining blogs as Amy. I just never really like myspace for blogging.
Today I ran 3.5 hilly miles, no walk breaks. I did the same yesterday. Half-marathon is less than two weeks away! I think I'll run a five miler race at LSU the week after that. I want to run the Jackson Day 9K in New Orleans in early January, but I am going to wait until after this half-marathon to decide whether or not I want to run the Mardi Gras Half in February.
